Southwest Ohio DNA Interest Group Update

On February 13th at 7:00 pm, SWOHDNA held its bimonthly meeting at the MidPointe Library in West Chester. The presentation at this meeting revisited Gedmatch. We explored some of the topics at a more in-depth level, including Tier 1 Tools that are only available with a $10 fee. We also explored the use of Gedcoms as an additional tool for identifying those elusive cousin relationships. You can view a tape of the meeting at this link.

The next meeting is scheduled for April 10, 2018 at the MidPointe Library. We will discuss This is NOT to be confused with a gedcom, which is a file that allows for the exchange of genealogical data from that was saved in different programs.

Their website defines the program as follows:

The program is actually 7 or 8 programs in one. It does cost $5.00 per month to use it. You can register in advance and explore some of the features.

Think spring and we will see you then.
